The Estonian football family is looking forward to August – Tallinn will be the host of UEFA Super Cup for the first time. The National Stadium of Estonia will see the match between UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League winners. Volunteers will become an important co-organiser of this event.
On 15th August, two top teams of European football will meet at the Lilleküla stadium, but the preparations for the big day will start sooner. For the event, UEFA and the Estonian Football Association plan to include around 140 volunteers, who will assist in different areas before, during and after the match. UEFA will provide necessary training, uniforms, meals and free public transport for the volunteers.
A wide variety of roles and assignments are available including in media, match and commercial operations, hospitality, accreditation, transportation, ticketing, and VIP-services. Around 40 volunteers alone will be helping out in the transportation area.
Since tasks and assignments are versatile, the demands of different positions vary. General demands for the applicants are that they must be at least 18 years old by August 1st, 2018 and have good communication skills in English.
Application period is from 23 March until the 30th of April.
Being a volunteer at such big event is a unique opportunity – take it!
